Christian Dior Cologne Blanche

I was doing some errands at Dior and while waiting for the billing, I cruised around the store and.. My my my.. I met this bottle of perfume!! Damn, I never knew they had this in Asia. I was so enthusiast in purchasing this. This bottle of perfume has this powdery smell, which might not be to some people's liking. But according to me they give the best smell ever, when you have used them for a certain time. It's just purely one of the many unique Fragrances I liked. I'm pretty much bored with the usual branded perfume, cause you tend to meet people who uses the same perfume as you do.

And believe me, you'll seldom meet people who uses Dior - Cologne Blanche, Acqua di Parma's and Creed Fragrances. Yes they costs much more than your usual bottle of perfume. But then again, there's an amount of price you have to pay to be special!

Dolce and Gabbana Le Bateleur 1

This bottle isn't that bad. I had No. 3 and well I always do need perfume and fragrances as I use them everyday. And it can get quite boring. I need something new and something that smells fresh for daily uses. :D From this series I guess No 1 & 3 are the one's I would recommend.

I classified the perfumes and fragrances to a certain category. I have some for daily uses and some for formal events. So they don't bore me and it kinda make it all more special that way. :D

The Love of Timepieces

The first time I got my very own personal Timepiece was on my 21st Birthday. It's Rolex - Submariner Date in 40 mm, steel. It's a Birthday present from my Dad. It's a surprise considering I've lost a Tag Heuer - The Link before. Honestly saying I never thought I'll be trusted with any more Timepieces.

And here the story goes..

I lost my Tag Heuer at Home!! Yeah, so weird huh? A friend of mine, a very close friend of mine took it while he was staying overnight at my place. Well he's in deep shit at that moment. He's dealing with his addiction on drugs. I've tried to help me him out by giving him loans. He always says that "It's gonna be the last time!". Seeing how painful he is to the addiction, I just didn't have the heart not to give him some loan. But well, he begin to ask for more. And I realise should I be giving him more loans, he'll always be addicted. Indirectly it's like I'm actually supporting his filthy habit of doing drugs. So I stopped giving him loans. And it's not like I'm expecting him to pay me the loans. I just kept thinking, I'm doing this to help a friend.

So well, he got no place to stay and I offered him to stay at my place until he got his own place. He stayed for a few days and right on the last day he stayed, I realize my Tag Heuer is gone! Definitely frustrated!! I actually forced my Mom to buy that for me and now it's gone. All thoughts suddenly come rushing to my brain.. What am I gonna say to my Mom? I can't possibly say that it's just gone or taken by a friend who is doing drugs?

I didn't directly blame or get angry with my friend. As disappointed as I am, I'm just too exhausted to be more angry with him. I called him and just told him.. "I know you took something, I'm ok with that. I just hope you'll stop your drugs habit". I've never meet him ever since, guess he must have been embarrassed. And I made a lie to my Mom, saying that I lost it during Physical Education class. =(

So well, I'm actually surprised that I'm actually being trusted with another Timepiece. I didn't expect Rolex to be something I really want. But the model's fine. It doesn't look old on me, I guess that's what matters with Rolex. The wrong kind will make me look like an older person, which I detest.

After 2 years or so, the same stupid incident happened. I LOST it again!! Damn!! Not taken by a friend, no drug habit agenda. I was washing my hand at the toilet where I previously worked at. And left the watch right next to the basin. I left it there for around 5 minutes. And when I realize and get back to the Toilet. It's gone!! Just like that.. "POOF!!'

I was so devastated of how stupid and clumsy I can be towards my possession. I told my Mom what happened and I was scolded. Well she didn't really scold me much, but her actions and words made me more remorseful. So well not long after that I got a "Panerai" for myself. As a soothing remedy for losing my Rolex - Submariner. And well, I guess I'm addicted to Timepieces besides my other addictions. =) And I'm still expecting for more Timepieces, but I got to take a little break for now perhaps. =p

Apple MacBook Pro 13"

This would be 1 of the many things I can't live without. DEFINATELY!! I think I might be slightly of a GADGET freak. I like electronics that look sleek and yet surprise me with abundant features. I guess who wouldn't huh?? Hahaha..

The first time I notice Apple was through a Friend of mine. I was totally attracted to their Apple logo at the front part of the Computer which lights up when it's turned on. It's sleek, simple and just plainly nice! But well, since I'm not used to Apple programs.. It might be hard to get accustomed to it, as I'm a Windows user. =)

But that didn't stop me from getting 1.. Considering I can still use my PC at home, should I find any difficulties using the MacBook. Hahahaa.. While using and learning to explore the Apple Black MacBook, I learned that they are actually much more user friendly compared to Windows. Their short cut buttons and etc. Since then, I crave for more and more of Apple Products. And am always anxiously waiting for newer products. =p

I must say, it's my very time to upgrade to MacBook Pro!! I Love Apple!! =p

The Old

The New

Apple Magic Mouse

Yay!!! Finally got my own "Magic Mouse". After they launch last november, I've dying to have them! I tried looking for them at Indonesia and they were nowhere to be found. The Apple Premium Store at Wheelock, ION and Paragon - Singapore.. All ran out of stock! I must admit, I become more curious of what this Magic Mouse can do. I've used the "Mighty Mouse" and they are fine. More than enough for a wireless mouse.

So after I got this, I was so excited to use and explore the functions they support. But well, apparently my MacBook Pro's OS was inadequate to run the features of the mouse. I have to update my OS to Snow Leopard (more costs). But well, what choice do I have right?

After the upgrade, there are some of the Applications that won't run on Snow Leopard, so I have to install the programs that's not working in order for them to run on Snow Leopard. It's all a hassle!! Buttt.. My "Magic Mouse" is working!! =p

It has the multi touch surface which supports scrolling vertically, horizontally, diagonally, a full 360 degrees right at the top surface of the mouse. As you can see from the picture, the top part of the mouse is a smooth surface without any trackball. It's was way way way a plus point for a mouse! It's definately worth the wait!! =)

A little comparison of the "Mighty Mouse and "Magic Mouse"

BlackBerry 9630 Tour

A picture I've found while backing up my pictures. My previous BlackBerry before the current BlackBerry 9700. Well this was the worst BlackBerry I must say. When I first saw the advertisement, I expected this to be good. But well after using it for some time, I regret buying this. I shouldn't have change my BlackBerry 9000 for this! Well shit happens?!

I've used Nokia E90 before I shifted to BlackBerry's. I would say that the Nokia E90 would be the best GSM phone I've used in my entire Life (feature wise), but I definately Loveee the Nokia 8810, 8850, 8890, 8910, Sirocco and Sapphire. Well that was all in the past though. Now I'm totally into BlackBerry cause it makes my Life so much easier!! =p

BlackBerry 9700 Onyx (Bold II)

Am dying for this and finally it's available at my Country. After using BlackBerry Bold and Tour, I'm really looking forward to this latest BlackBerry. Hoping this has been updated with better software, features and long lasting battery!! So far, am loving this Gadget like no any others. It's exactly what I want, bigger internal memory and faster response with Trackpad instead of bloody Trackball that get jammed after being used for quite some time. Love it!! It's highly recommended for BlackBerry Lovers!!

Canon Powershot S90

Yay!! Been looking for a better camera for quite some time. Am every interested in getting Canon DSLR's, but the weight and hassle of bringing it hesitates me on getting one. The thing is, I'll prefer to bring my Laptop around compared to Big Camera's. So then, again my hunt for compact camera's begin. Apparently the Canon Powershot S90 is the IT camera for the moment. The reviews are good and it has some of the DSLR's features. And of couse better quality picture's is what's most important. It somehow has the look of Leica (A camera that I'll definately get 1 day.. :p)

Since it's not available at my Country. Yes, it's even hard just to get this at my country.. URGHH!! My Sis help me get it while she was on a holiday trip to Singapore, so well good bye Sony.. And welcome Canon!! =)

Creed Fragrances Virgin Island Water

A Friend of mine was at Europe for Holiday. I asked them for a little help on purchasing my Creed Perfume. Hehe.. Well, they were gonna buy too anyway and yes they did buy some for their own. Well what's with this perfume? Believe it or not, I used to insult it. It has this smell of Coconut, but it's very fresh though. It takes me some time to like it. Again me & my insult's. Which usually lead me to liking it later!! Hahaha.. It's perfect if you're heading anywhere Beachy or if you are in the mood to smell vibrant and special. =)

Well this is my second bottle in Virgin Island Water. I'm a freak of Creed Perfume. This is my collection so far "Green Irish Tweed, Silver Mountain, Millésime Impérial, Virgin Island Water". I got to know this brand from a friend of mine. At that moment he uses "Green Irish Tweed" which has this "Davidoff - Cool Water" kind of smell. I was never a fan of Davidoff Cool Water, but the moment I smelled "Green Irish Tweed" I liked it. It has the special scents they used which I can't explain in words. It's just the right one.

So well here's the article regarding Creed Fragrances :

There are many celebrities using Creed Fragrances, paired with a celebrity that wears it :
Green Irish Tweed - Robert Redford, Richard Gere, Clint Eastwood, Robbie Williams, Naomi Campbell, Pierce Brosnan and George Clooney.
Silver Mountain Water - David Bowie, Jennifer Lopez, Eva Herzigova and Ricky Martin
Millésime Impérial - Harrison Ford, Catherine Zeta Jones, Pierce Brosnan and Nikki Taylor.

But be warned. Should you find a Creed perfume you like, you risk developing an expensive habit that will probably last a lifetime. Such is the power and subtle tenacity of Creed fragrances: once they enter your bloodstream – and if you use them long enough they will – you keep coming back for more. And when you’re hooked, nothing else will ever suffice. Believe me, I’ve learnt the hard way.

Acqua di Parma Colonia

I got my first bottle of Acqua Di Parma - Colonia at Tangs Dept Store around 1 or 2 years back. I've always like using it for evening time or formal events. It has this masculine smell which is not light but also not too much. The smell I must say, is what a Man needs. It's good and unique. =) Very well recommended.

Well anyway, now they sell it too at Takashimaya Dept Store. This is my second bottle now, and it's one of the essential's that I will always have to have. =)

Anyway here's a little story regarding Acqua di Parma from Sephora :

BEHIND THE BRAND
Originating in 1916, Acqua di Parma is nearly a scentury old.

Its fascinating history began in a small perfume factory in Parma, Italy, a city of enviable culture, tradition, and sophistication. At the time of Acqua di Parma's birth, all of the dominating fragrances were strong, aggressive, and very complex in their composition. So when the brand introduced Colonia, a light, fresh, and clean scent that appealed to both men and women, it was both a timely and welcome alternative. By the 1930s, the cologne had become so popular that its production had to be increased in order to meet the market's demands. And during that time Colonia became
the perfume of choice for men and women of discerning taste and sophisticated elegance, Hollywood's biggest names included.

In the 1990s, determined to safeguard an Italian classic and a stately brand of unrivalled quality, tradition, and craftsmanship, three prominent Italian entrepreneurs relaunched Acqua di Parma's traditional Colonia scent. They also created a sophisticated line of luxury lifestyle items, which included handcrafted leather goods, handmade perfumed candles, and rich terrycloth bathrobes and towels. To house all of the new offerings, the brand opened its first boutique in the exclusive Via del Gesù in Milan, the center of the fashion world. In 2001, Acqua di Parma was acquired by the world's foremost producer and distributor of luxury goods—LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton.

While the label continues to reside at the forefront of beauty and fashion, Acqua di Parma also holds true to its original roots and production practices: the essence is still distilled entirely by hand, and the packaging is still hand designed and crafted by skilled craftsmen and experts using the same tried and true methods as in the past.

Acqua di Parma's fans include famous international celebrities, style mavens, and world leaders seeking to indulge in Acqua di Parma's coveted "way of life"—a lifestyle of elegance and understated sophistication that will always complement a classic-yet-contemporary cosmopolitan customer.
